Some of the local venues we recommend
and enjoy working with

Having catered in possibly every venue in and around Guildford over the past 20 years, for practically every imaginable occasion – we like to think we know most of them really well, but cannot help having our ‘favourites’.

So, even if it is not on the list and you would like a truthful, unbiased opinion about our local venues to hold your event or function – just ask us!

But remember – it is only our own personal opinion.

Clandon Wood Natural Burial Ground

A beautiful glass pavilion to hold a funeral reception after the service. No kitchen facilities at all but we simply take everything we need with us! No problem.

Compton Village Club

A huge attractive space, that can be split in 2 accommodating 40 -250 guests, with a bar and kitchen with hatch, plus a terrace overlooking the green (close to the crematorium for funeral receptions).

Compton Village Hall

A large interesting and attractive 1930s village hall with kitchen and useful separate hatch from which to serve drinks (close to the crematorium for funeral receptions).

The Poppy Room, West Clandon

A bright room with big windows, terrace and rural views. Bar available.

St. Edwards, Sutton Green

A medium size quite modern Hall with kitchen, adjacent to the church –rural position with lovely views.

St John’s Centre, Merrow

Our super ‘local’ venue – several small /medium size meeting rooms plus a very large stylish beamed Hall. Super kitchen for us to work in.

St Nicolas, Guildford

A reasonably large size hall with huge picture windows and adjacent kitchen. Very central Guildford position
(have catered for anything from 50-250 here).

St Pius X, Merrow

Another great ‘local’ venue for us. Very large modern Hall that can be separated into 2 smaller halls with doors. Good kitchen and facilities.

Trinity Centre, Guildford

A downstairs room with good kitchen and very large bright upstairs Hall (with disabled lift). Perfect if you want right in the High Street and have lots of guests.
